It’s not just the building that exudes warmth either, but a care team of professionals who make it their daily promise to support and serve those in their care.
The Gables is a small, warm and welcoming home set in a convenient location near the centre of Aylesbury. It enjoys close proximity to all the town’s local amenities and transport routes, while still boasting a peaceful residential environment. The jewel in the crown at The Gables is undoubtedly our highly attentive care team who fulfil the promise of making life personal.
Homely environment
The Gables’ care team has created a comfortable and homely environment to be proud of where residents can enjoy a lovely patio area with garden furniture, gazebo and a selection of flowers and shrubs, in addition to the interior spaces the home has to offer.
Like all our homes, The Gables is committed to giving residents the highest possible quality of life and provides a highly professional and individualised care service for – meeting all of our residents’ medical, cultural, social and emotional needs through a diary of entertainment, events and activities that are varied and regular.
Commitment to quality
Our promise is also to provide a mouth-watering menu of highly nutritious food to serve the body and mind. We also promise an environment that is as clinically adept as it is warm and friendly. This means that we have regular visits from local medical professionals, including GPs, physiotherapists and occupational therapists who attend the home on a regular basis to add specialist knowledge and advice in addition to that given by our own highly trained care team.
New resident enquirySocial activities
That’s why we have an active social life forging friendships and bringing people together through a host of activities like arts and crafts, pet therapy, days trips, gardening, cooking, quizzes and sing-alongs to name just a few.
Home signifies lots of things to different people. Food is towards the top of the list for many and we make sure our menus are not just varied and well-presented but highly nutritious too. It’s also about family of course and so visitors are welcome all day and evening too.
What our customers say…
"Thank you for all the care and love with which you looked after my father. I am so glad that he was back from hospital for the last days of his life and that he was with you when he died. Thank you for always being very welcoming to me anytime I visited and for being so helpful.
