Local butchers are top of our menu

The health and well-being of our residents is our highest priority, and we all know that good food is a major factor in the way we feel.

That’s why we are delighted this year to re-new our arrangement with King’s Farm Shop in Aylesbury which supplies the very best in locally produced free-range meat.

They really do have a lovely range of free-range chicken, pork, lamb and duck. A full range of local game is available from them seasonally including venison, rabbit, pheasant and partridge.

Trishna Dhot, Head of Operations at Chiltern Care, said: “We are very lucky to have such a wonderful resource on our doorstep and we like to make the most of it. Our commitment to having the very best local organic meat on the menu at all our homes is something we are very proud of. As the saying goes ‘you are what you eat’ so ensuring we offer the highest quality to all our residents year on year is something we are determined to continue.”
