A strawberry tea for Cherry Tree

Residents, staff, family and friends gathered on a beautifully sunny day in July to enjoy what has become a highlight in the home’s calendar – the annual strawberry tea.

Homemade jam, cakes and other goodies made up a spread to be proud of and it was a pleasure to see everyone get together. A band played all afternoon and we sang and danced in the sun.

Deputy manager Elaine Furlong, said: “The annual strawberry tea has become a firm favourite with residents and this year didn’t disappoint. There’s a lot of planning to go into a day like this but to see the smiles on everyone’s faces, it’s worth it every time.”
